Composite Bonding

In Composite Bonding thin layers of tooth coloured composite resin are placed over the surface of the tooth to improve an individual’s smile appearance. Composite bonding treatment can often be completed in one visit.Composite bonding is usually completed in one visit to the dentist. During your treatment the dentist will ensure that the tooth is cleaned to remove all surface stains, the teeth surfaces are then isolated to keep dry from moisture in the mouth. The beauty of this technique is that we do not need to drill away any tooth to provide the treatment in the majority of cases. On occasion, some sharp edges or thick enamel may need to be removed prior to the bonding but this would be very minimal The composite resin material is applied to the surfaces of the teeth in order to achieve the correct shape and position, ensuring a natural appearance remains.
