Invisalign is the number one clear aligner system used to straighten teeth. It is a popular alternative to traditional metal braces due to the aligners being almost invisible.
Invisalign works by using a series of clear aligners to gradually shift your teeth into the desired position. You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, and then switch to the next set in the series until your teeth are fully aligned.
Most people experience some discomfort when they first start wearing Invisalign aligners, but it is generally mild and goes away within a few days. You may also experience some soreness each time you switch to a new set of aligners, but again, it should be mild and short-lived.
