Dr Puja earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Cardiff University’s Wales College of Medicine in 2009. Over her 16-year career as a dentist, she developed a particular interest in oral surgery and in supporting very anxious patients. Dr Puja is a performer for advanced mandatory services under the NHS, offering oral surgery and sedation services for anxious adults and children on referral.
In 2013, she obtained postgraduate qualifications from the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) and has been practising sedation since then. Dr Puja passed with distinction her examinations for the Postgraduate Certificate in Sedation and Pain Management from University College London (UCL). She was subsequently invited by the UCL program director to mentor and assess dentists in intravenous (IV) and relative analgesia (RA) sedation.
Dr Puja also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education and contributes to teaching at King’s College and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Dental Hospital, where she mentors undergraduate dental students in oral surgery. Additionally, she offers mobile sedation services across multiple practices in England and Wales.
To further expand her expertise, Dr Puja completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Implantology at Warwick University. Currently, she dedicates her time to both NHS and private practice, focusing on providing oral surgery and sedation services.
In her spare time Dr. Puja loves spending time with her young family, traveling, and going to the gym.
